2024 Stroke Rehabilitation Report released
The 2024 Rehabilitation Services Audit Report has been released which paints a picture of the ongoing challenges in delivering inpatient stroke rehabilitation. This is the first snapshot of services since 2020 (2022 audit was postponed due to the impacts of the COVID-19 response). We are very grateful to the dedication of rehabilitation staff who have invested a lot of time and effort to collect this data and their ongoing commitment to delivering excellent rehabilitation services. Unfortunately, the system is under tremendous strain, and we are calling on governments and health departments to adequately resource rehabilitation services to be able to deliver world class care and maximise recovery for those impacted by stroke.
