Activities of daily living
Occupational therapists and physiotherapists help stroke survivors improve their performance in activities of daily living (ADL), including both personal (basic self-maintenance such as showering, toileting, dressing and eating) and extended (domestic and community tasks such as home maintenance, financial management and community access, including driving).
