Experts in paediatric stroke, or rural and regional settings, invited to join our Clinical Council
The Stroke Foundation is seeking to fill two vacancies on its Clinical Council.
We are looking for :
- one member who has expertise in paediatric stroke
- another who can provide specialist advice on stroke care in regional and rural settings and is regionally based.
The Clinical Council is a subcommittee of the Stroke Foundation Board and is responsible for providing advice and clinical input to the Board and the work of Stroke Foundation on: strategy, clinical guidelines, data performance, other programs, public health and policy documents, Stroke Foundation publications (e.g. fact sheets, brochures), presentations, and publications in peer reviewed journals and questions received from the general public and media.
The group comprises leading stroke clinicians, academics and researchers. Clinical Council members represent core disciplines involved in stroke care (allied health, nursing, medical: acute, rehabilitation and paediatrics). These positions are honorary appointments with a three-year term (maximum two terms).
Expressions of interest are invited and must be received by 5 pm on 30 September 2025.
