Researchers invited to join Stroke Foundation's Research Advisory Committee

Stroke Foundation is looking for researchers with an established track record in stroke research or related fields to join our Research Advisory Committee.

We are specifically interested in including members in the following areas, but people with interests in other areas are also welcome to apply:

  • Primary care (particularly in general practice or nursing)
  • Rural and remote regions health care
  • First Nations person with health care experience
  • Occupational therapy.

​The Research Advisory Committee:

  • is a Stroke Foundation Board subcommittee that advises on and informs our research program
  • includes multi-disciplinary expertise because of the diverse impact of stroke
  • represents the voice of lived experience.
     

Being a Research Advisory Committee member is an honorary appointment.

In addition to the specific experience and skills sought, we encourage suitably qualified people with lived experience of stroke and from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to apply.
