Stroke Foundation's Research Advisory Committee seeks new members

(Updated 21 September 2022 to extend deadline for applications)

We need you – help Stroke Foundation to achieve its mission to prevent stroke, save lives and enhance stroke recovery.

The Research Advisory Committee is a Board subcommittee that advises on and informs our Research Program. Expertise within the Research Advisory Committee is multi-disciplinary because of the diverse impact of stroke, covering areas of practice, continuum of care, methodologies, and the voice of lived experience.

We invite expressions of interest from researchers with an established track record in stroke research and/or related fields. We are specifically interested in including members in the following areas, but people with interests in other areas are also welcome to apply:

  • Indigenous health
  • Clinical psychology
  • Medical or nursing specialist in stroke care across acute, sub-acute or transitional care settings

Stroke Foundation is committed to a workplace that champions diversity. In addition to the skills and experience being sought, we encourage applications from suitably qualified people from all cultural backgrounds to apply.
