This session will be beneficial for both existing health professionals working in stroke care and those who are new to the area of stroke.
About the presenters
Lisa Yates is the StrokeLink Coordinator for Queensland, supporting clinicians to implement quality improvement initiatives to improve stroke care across the state through facilitated quality improvement workshops and education.
Lisa has a clinical background as a speech pathologist across acute, subacute and community services in both Australia and the UK. More recently she has worked in team leader, service improvement and performance reporting roles within subacute health settings.
Beth Crane is the StrokeLink Coordinator for Tasmania.
Beth has an allied health and research background, having worked in the community, university, hospital and private sectors, providing care to a variety of patients including post stroke.
She is also the Living Well After Stroke Project Officer, delivering the secondary prevention program for survivors of stroke in Tasmania.
