About the presenter

Skye Coote (MN, CCRN, ANVP-BC, NVRN-BC, ASC-BC) is a Stroke Nurse Practitioner and is the coordinator of the Australian Stroke Centre Certification program with the Stroke Foundation. She has previously been the Nursing Lead of the Melbourne Mobile Stroke Units.
Skye has an extensive critical care background, and holds a post-graduate diploma in Critical Care and a Master’s Degree in Nursing. She has undertaken stroke fellowship training and is certified as an Advanced Neurovascular Practitioner, Neurovascular Registered Nurse and an Advanced Stroke Coordinator. She has won numerous awards for her work in stroke, including clinical excellence and leadership awards, and has published and presented internationally.
