About the presenters
Associate Professor Margaret McGrath leads the Discipline of Occupational Therapy at the Faculty of Medicine and Health, where she is engaged in research and teaching in the broad area of chronic disease and acquired disability.
Sandra Lever is the Clinical Nurse Consultant in Rehabilitation at Graythwaite Rehabilitation Centre, Ryde Hospital, and a casual academic at The University of Sydney.
Together with her multi-disciplinary colleagues, Sandra has been involved in a program of research to improve addressing of stroke survivors’ sexuality by health professionals.
Associate Professor Emma Power is an internationally recognised speech pathologist who aims to enhance the lives of people with communication disability and their supporters who have had a stroke, brain injury or dementia.
Her research and practice involves development, delivery and clinical implementation of communication partner training (CPT) programs.
