Centre of Research Excellence in Aphasia Recovery and Rehabilitation: Seminar Series

Wednesday 25 February 2026

  • Melbourne, Sydney 8 am (AEDT)
  • Brisbane 7 am (AEST)
  • Perth – 5 am (AWST)
  • London – 8 pm, 24 February (GMT)

Presented by Dr Abi Roper, University of London

Grounded in the perspectives of people with aphasia, this session will introduce research exploring:

  • Information search (e.g. Google)
  • Data visualization (e.g. graphs)
  • Voice technology (e.g. Alexa) in everyday contexts.

These lessons about common barriers and user-led workarounds help promote better technology access in the short and long-term.
