“Valued living”, or doing what matters to you, is associated with better outcomes post-stroke. However, measures, processes and interventions for valued living are often unsuitable for people with cognitive and communication difficulties. Dana will present a range of adaptations and methods to optimise accessibility in valued living research and practice.
Dana Wong is an Associate Professor and Clinical Neuropsychologist in the School of Psychology and Public Health, La Trobe University. She leads the eNACT (Neurorehabilitation And Clinical Translation) Research Group, which focuses on developing, evaluating and implementing cognitive and psychological interventions for people living with stroke and brain injury.
