About the presenters

Ashleigh Mamo

Ashleigh Mamo is the Stroke Data Coordinator for the Stroke Foundation’s National Stroke Audit Program.

Ashleigh’s background is in health policy and promotion, with experience in project management, data capture and reporting. She has previously overseen the NSW StrokeLine Outreach Program and the Stroke Foundation’s National Webinar Series.

 

Melita Stirling

Melita Stirling is the Stroke Quality Improvement Manager at Stroke Foundation. She works to strengthen foundations of best-practice stroke care by enhancing organisational resources, engaging with health professionals and drawing on the voice of lived experience.

Melita has a background as a speech pathologist and brings her experience of working with stroke survivors in acute, rehabilitation and domiciliary services, to program design and delivery.
