Living stroke guidelines webinar: Updates in acute care and secondary prevention
The Stroke Foundation’s Clinical Guidelines for Stroke Management have become living guidelines, updated as new evidence emerges. Recently the NHMRC approved changes in recommendations for thrombolysis, acute antiplatelet therapy and closure of patent foramen ovale (PFO).
This webinar on the research behind these changes and the implications for practice was held on 10 February 2020.
It was presented by A/Prof Nawaf Yassi, Neurologist, Royal Melbourne Hospital, University of Melbourne, Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research.
